Good day. I used cme from e-mail received the mini.iso from the link
http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dists/stretch/main/installer-amd64/current/images/netboot/
but the process installation of debian streatch is blocked during the
installation of my network card this because they lack the firmwar
and we do call them "Debian stable" because it makes
sense for our users.

Because it would create a better experience for the affected users with
no downsides?

While this is techically true, I do not think that it would also be
helpful in any way.

FWIW, the development process used looks fine to me and I agree that
the images should be advertised as official Debian images.

Does anybody actually know that people routinely try to install desktop

What is the use case for this? Cheap DVD readers have been around for

Hi
I am due to download the latest Debian
release but, before doing so, would like to know if there is, in addition to the
7 CD version, a DVD version, which would be more comfortable. If not, is
there any plan to make a DVD version of Debian in the future?
Thank you

If this is correct, why is this so? Shouldn't the jigdo file know what

Hi,
I tried to download the images with jigdo-lite, but get the message this
files wouldn't exist.
When looking with ftp for these files, I saw that they have permission
-rw---. I think this is the problem.
Is that correct?
Is that problem known?
Bye
