I've submitted a request to update the AWS Marketplace listing. The new listing will use the latest stretch 9.9 AMIs (as visiable at https://wiki.debian.org/Cloud/AmazonEC2Image/Stretch) and will support newer instance types. The submission must be reviewed by Marketplace staff at AWS. This can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. If you're using the current Marketplace listings, you should receive an email notification from AWS when the listing is updated. noah signature.asc Description: PGP signature
AWS Debian Stretch Marketplace AMI doest'not allow launch t3a/m5a Amazon EC2 instance
Hi, We have some AWS instances based on AWS Marketplace Debian Stretch image.By the end of April 2019 AWS lanched new instance type - t3a/m5a (AMD).As we tried to change some of our AWS instances from t3 to t3a we got the following error:"An error occurred while trying to change the instance type for this instance. The instance configuration for this AWS Marketplace product is not supported."AWS support answered our question with the following answer:"If Debian chooses to submit an update to their Marketplace listing in the future, to update the list of supported instances to include t3a/m5a,then in that situation you would be able to start launching them directly through the Marketplace subscription from that point forward".Is it possible for you to add you current Marketplace image to the list of supported for t3a/m5a AWS instances? Best Regards, Eugeny
