In any case: most of what I've read so far indicates that debian is going in
the right direction on this, and I'm excited to see what the final decision is.

Hi Paul,
These dates are in the past, was it intended for the dates to be in
Janruay, February, and March of 2023 instead of 2022?

I realized I should add some additional details.
The affected computer is a Lenovo Thinkpad W530 laptop.
I tested two very different keyboards with the same results. I also
connected one of those keyboards to a coworkers machine, and found no
issues with the same keyboard on a different machine.

Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Upgraded packages on 2015-05-04. Upgrades included kernel update from
3.16.0-4-amd64 to 4.0.0-1-amd64.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?

P.S. Hope the mail gets threaded right ... as I was not CC'd but happened to
notice the discussion.

I'm still seeing infinite loops and rapid resource utilization doing this.
Actually, I've narrowed it down to 676 characters
that work. As soon as you go 1 beyond that it loops. Strange ...
Please CC above addresses if it's not too much trouble.

Hi,
Looks to me like kernel 2.0.34 is more than just a bugfix release. The
aic7xxx/pci driver changed *completely* with the result that my adaptec
2940AU no longer seems to work. I'd agree with the suggestion that 2.0.33
be kept around a bit longer.
