Hi, The targets are "officially" mandatory and have been since 3.9.4 (released in September 2012). Currently lintian and dpkg still forgive their absence to avoid auto-rejects and FTBFS bugs. However, Guillem and I would like to get the remaining packages updated sooner rather than later
