I've used the root account to install some mozilla - modules into
/usr/lib/mozilla-firebird/chrome. After i changed into my normal user

I've seen this happen when installing extensions, such as the tabbrowser
extensions... the .jar file gets installed with 400 permissions, which
can be Ok if you're installing it locally,
