Does anyone know of an :autocmd script to be included in $HOME/.vimrc and
that'd allow to automatically edit syslinux .bin files ?

If not, any hint about hwo this could be done ? Basically, vim has to mount the
file using mount -o loop and then it't give access to the various files
contained in the archive.

Thanks.
