Hi,

I don't think that is hardware fault. I've second (boot) OS: Kali Linux
(based on Debian) and there are not some kind of messages about  "enumerate
USB device".

It seems to me that problem can exists with kernel or modules (maybe
configuration of ones). You can tell me where I can explore more about
error on system myself if you think it isn't serious bug.
