I don't have any desire to be drawn into the long discussions; many have made the points I agree with better than I could. But for anyone keeping track, put me down in the column of those very disheartened by the lack of prior consultation. I'm also persuaded by those who suggest freezing much later than December 2009 (like December 2010) is a better option.
