Package: dpkg Version: 1.16.0 I just upgraded dpkg to 1.16.0 today and noticed the following three problems: 1. it segfaulted! (fortunately, /var/lib/dpkg/status wasn't corrupted) 2. it claimed it was installing a package called 'xŒ—)' which does not exist. probably related to #1 above
