LTSP chroot while the packages are installed, and have uploaded a fix
for this to wheezy-test, adding code to mount /sys/.
Please test it and let me know if it solve the problem for you. A new
ISO should be available very soon with the fix.

The intended design is to put it in /skole/tjener/ (for example

I tested this just now, and you need to first
(1) create the /skole/tjener/shared directory, then
(2) update /etc/fstab to bind
diskless workstation get a NTP server connecting to 'server',
ie the tjener NTP server. Do yours not get this? I test using 'ntpq
-c lpeer'.

Cross mounting using autofs is a lot harder, because some of the mount
points in LDAP need to be ignored on each NFS srever. I have no idea
how to implemnt that using LDAP.

beta0 can not automatically upgrade to beta1, as gosa.conf was updated
to fix Windows integration and both answers to the resulting conffile

Checked the original and the library, and thus function is now called
user_next_uid(); Try editing machineadd-gosa and replace
'get_next_id($config{usersdn}, uidNumber );' with
'user_next_uid();'.
I figured out a way to test this from the command line without a

-update --package --remove edu-group
pam-auth-update --package --remove edu-umask

Yes. I got further, but the log now complains about SSL certificate
and I still get the error message The user name could not be found
on the XP PC when trying to join the domain. Log entry:

to be that now so much GNOME packages are pulled in, that you
end up with GNOME instead of LXDE as default xsession.
No idea why this happen, nor how to avoid it. 'aptitude why

Hi,
is the gosa mass import package already available somewhere,
unofficially with correct versioning numers?
The fix should already be in alpha3, for importing users from CVE
file.

test it regularly behind a blocking firewall to ensure d-i keep
working even in such setup. It didn't work properly in Lenny, but
since then it has been working well.
Will report tomorrow if I manage to work around that issue this way

have DHCP enabled. The objects without the dhcpHost objectclass are not
used by dhcp, and make it mandatory to visit the gosa web gui to enable
dhcp for new hosts.
That seem like a bad idea. What was the reason for this change?
