compared to lightdm and gdm3, kdm greeter looks sort of strange.
Obviously the design is a mix of old lenny/squeeze work overlayed with
recent one. If the default joy theme was taken with only the background
changed to the Debian Edu one, it would imo look far better and more
consistent.

manual version contains images with a width far beyond that size.
To be able to ship the images in d-e-doc with a max width of 800 too,
the attached patch could be applied. Could someone please check and test
