Reason is a wrong /etc/network/interfaces file, generated during installation. In case the LTSP-server profile is chosen additionally, this file is rewritten and a correct resolv.conf file is generated. The d-i/pre-pgksel script writes nameserver and search entries concerning the loopback interface. This used to work for more than a decade. hi, currently src:debian-edu-doc still contains three manuals, one each for Bookworm, Bullseye and Buster. *After* the upcoming 2.11.14 upload I will drop the Buster manual from the git master branch, should we ever want to update the Buster manual we can branch from the 2.11.14 tag...
