IP_forward - file truncated

Hello! ip_forward has 0 value but it's impossible to turn this value to 1. and the permissions ares are corrects. Im using Debian sarge (3.1 r0a) Kernel 2.6.8 I don't know what is wrong. Thanks! Boukari
