Hi,
I am one of the S/390 porters. The latest version of gcc-3.0 doesn't support
shared libgcc for s390. Could you please reenable this by applying the
attached patch.
The latest version is broken, since libgcc is built and used during
Hi,
is someone going to upload a new version of gcc-3.0 as long as Matthias is on
vacation? If yes, could you apply the fix from bug report 120452. It is a
trivial fix to reenable shared libgcc for s390. If not, will anybody mind if
I a do a source NMU to fix the problem?
Thanks,
Gerhard

BTW, has someone tested the current gcc-3.0 package with a shared
libgcc? I seem to remember a discussion about it not working somehow, but

Just a heads up -- there may be a ia64 patch needed for gcc-3.0. When I
have some time I'll look at pulling the patches and testing them for
ia64..

FYI: I originally assigned that bug to gcc-m68k-linux, but it should have
been gcc, because the problem shows up when doing native compilation on
m68k with package gcc installed.
The bug still exists both in gcc 2:2.95.4-8 and gcc-3.0 1:3.0.2-3.
