I'm have this problem only when try to use it with kernel 2.2.

This machine have the same problem with ldconfig. In other sid machine
running 2.4 and 2.6 kernels I doesn't have

The day for summer time in timezone is wrong so all Debian systems
updated for it in wrong date. Please fix this.
The right date is in 11/03/2002 (first sunday of november).
