Package: locales Version: 2.3.5-3 Severity: normal Tags: patch, upstream Hi,
Locale generation failed with this error: vi_VN.UTF-8...No definition for LC_NAME category found No definition for LC_ADDRESS category found No definition for LC_TELEPHONE category found This is because current upstream glibc's locale is broken. A bug has been open for quite some time about vi_VN update, but it is still not corrected... See http://sources.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=448 Please use the corresponding updated vi_VN definition: http://sources.redhat.com/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=227&action=view And tell glibc people to do it too :) Regards, Samuel -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (900, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-rc4 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages locales depends on: ii debconf 1.4.56 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 [glibc-2.3.5-3] 2.3.5-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an locales recommends no packages. -- debconf information: * locales/default_environment_locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * locales/locales_to_be_generated: fr_FR ISO-8859-1, fr_FR.UTF-8 UTF-8, [EMAIL PROTECTED] ISO-8859-15, fr_FR.ISO-8859-15 ISO-8859-15, [EMAIL PROTECTED] UTF-8, fr_FR.IBM850 IBM850, vi_VN UTF-8, vi_VN.UTF-8 UTF-8, vi_VN.TCVN TCVN5712-1 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
