I failed to see how it is a glibc bug as libc6 doesn't use a
package-specific script. Reassigning to reportbug.

Bug#882130: libc6: reportbug script is borked

2017-11-19 Thread Adam Borowski
Package: libc6
Version: 2.25-1
Severity: normal

Hi!
When trying to "reportbug libc6", the package-specific script loops spewing
pages of "E: No packages found" for minutes. The loop is not endless,
though, and after some time it continues.

But even then, reportbug acts as if libc6 was not installed (manual package
selection among those within a pattern match, asking for version number,
no list of dependencies, etc).
