Package: tzdata
Version: 2019c-0+deb9u1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

It appears the leap-seconds.list file of tzdata in debian stable is now expired.
This is a potential issue if new leap seconds are introduced, and thus, as far
as I understand, deserve an upgrade even in debian oldstable. The sid version of
this package expires on 28 December 2020.

$ grep "File expires" /usr/share/zoneinfo/leap-seconds.list
#       File expires on:  28 June 2020

Best regards

I guess you mean oldstable, not stable here.

The package tzdata 2020a-0+deb9u1 which fixes that issue is already
ready, and is available in oldstable-proposed-updates [1]. It'll be
released with the last version of debian oldstable on July 18th [2].
