Hi George,

There are multiple ways to contribute.  Probably the simplest in this
case is to attach a patch to the bug report.  Bug reports that include
patches are quite welcome!

You can also join the Java Team and push patches directly into the
packaging repo and then collaborate with a team member to get the
package uploaded.  More information about that can be found here:
