Martin,
Because I had simply dist-upgrade and auto-remove without intending to
uninstall any major components, I thought this might be an issue to address
with the maintainers, but I understand your points.
Thank you very much for the advice. I did what you suggested and everything

I, and others, have had a failed attempt at upgrading to KMail 16.04

I've been monitoring the "big upgrade" thats been rolling out, and the only
thing that seems to be blocking it on my desktop is a missing plasma-systray-
legacy package. Is that going to make it to the new kde packages? or is it
being discontinued?

The workaround is
sudo ln -s /usr/sbin/smbd /usr/bin/smbd
In my initial report it says:
"kdenetwork-filesharing, samba installed, but can share becuase it can find
samba."
It should say:
"kdenetwork-filesharing, samba installed, but can't share because it can't
find samba."

Hi,
upgrading a non-minimal stretch kde installation fails because
kde-workspace-data has Breaks+Replaces: kde-l10n-XX (< 4:4.14.0-4~)
but kde-l10n-XX is only available at version 4:4.14.0-3.

Dear Maintainer,
Installing xserver-xorg in current stretch installs both X-server drivers:
evdev and libinput.
At least on my system X-server took therefore the libinput driver.
Unfortunately libinput registers with "Abs X" instead
