I just see that the vCards are in /home/$USER/.local/share/kpeoplevcard/
kdeconnect-UUID/
However, a new address book as a vCard folder only results in an empty address
book.

Hello,
I know it is a known problem that Kadressbook or Akonadi does not currently
synchronize with Google Contacts.
According to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446580 it should work again
with 'LibKGAPI' from version 23.04.0.
In Debian, 'LibKGAPI'' is included in 'libkpimgapi-data', but
