As suggested on my patch 77, I would prefer get rid of ucred declaration.
This piece of code is completely outdated and used on older glibc.
On GNU/kFreeBSD, it seems still an issue ?

The comment `struct ucred' is not defined in glibc 2.0. is not the correct
one.
upstream comment, removed on my initial patch.
I'll provide an updated patch to fix the issue also on GNU/kFreeBSD.
IMHO, ucred structure should not be redeclared at all

relies on configuring the network stack without reliance on a GUI and I
too use ifplugd for my wired Ethernet interface.
