I run Plasma (testing/sid) on a desktop, so no suspend function needed.
I really like it and it is very, very usable.

I'm trying to select a GPG signing key for one of my e-mail identities.
This opens a dialog offering the key for that e-mail address, but when
I click on the key, the dialog window starts refreshing as if in a loop.

My experience is not as bad as your comments. It is true that I didn't have
KDE in August when surely Plasma 5 was really unstable. But now it is quite
stable. I experienced some crashes with KRunner, but not much more. I work all
days with KDE both for normal usage and for job-related tasks
