Was able to open the problematic file by reconfiguring Kwrite and changing the default encoding to UTF-8 and the fallback encoding to UTF-16 (Kwrite keeps changing UTF-16 to ucs2 but whatever). That's a good news for me, of course, but still I feel Kwrite shouldn't crash like that even if the

Hi, Juk started to behave a bit weirdly for me when adding a new directory to play so I closed it using the "File > Quit" menu option and it closed. But now when Juk is started it fails to show its window and appears to be hanging and needs to be killed. If the "~/.config/jukrc" file is

Any way to prevent Konqueror starting every time after KDE login?

Hi, Fore some reason, the Konqueror browser starts whenever I login into KDE, even though I wasn't using Konqueror and there was no Konqueror window open when I was logging out of KDE. Couldn't find any setting that would prevent Konqueror starting by default. Any ideas? Thanks Operating
