I'm owning an Indy R5000 with IP22 ROM.
last dist-upgrade left me with an unconfigured openssh-server because
ssh-keygen & friends segfault during initialization.
I seem to remember from before 2004 that I experienced similar
problems which were rem

This problem is repeatable on two of our Sun X2200 servers (two * quad-core
Opteron 2376 CPUs and 28GB of RAM). I found a couple of similar bug reports
(#496917 and #536236) , but they are filed agains amd64 kernels.
We got no flock() problems anymore after upgrading to the patched
kernel. There are still a few problems with ocfs2 as we are still using
the latest stable release without the latest bugfixes, so i can't give
you any more information at the moment.

the k-p legacy code seems to assume that bootloaders have
no initrd/initramfs support:
http://piuparts.debian.org/sid/fail/linux-image-2.6.30-1-amd64_2.6.30-3.log
i propose to nuke that hole section,
as any recent (e)lilo.conf has an initrd support.
