Hi Ben,
I tweaked it a bit, and now I get much more telling messages:

[0.00] Initializing cgroup subsys cpu
[0.00] Initializing cgroup subsys cpuacct

Hi Ben,
possibly unrelated, but neither the kernels of the Ubuntu installers for
12.04 and 14.04, nor the kernel for Fedora 21 installer, even boot on my
VM. I reckoned that you might be interested, being a kernel hacker.
CentOS 6.5 or OpenBSD 5.6 don't have a problem, though.
Kind regards,

Dear Maintainer,
I upgraded from wheezy to jessie and after the upgrade, suspend and hibernate
are not fully functional anymore.
Hibernate works, but the final power off does not work. If I do a hard reboot,
the resume works flawless.

Hi!
I don't know how to track down this bug, but I'm happy to help do so.
Also, if this is related to network-manager and not the kernel, please
feel free to reassign.
I am using a MacBook Pro running Debian testing.
I have noticed that
