I also tried tu use kernel 4.0.0-1 from sid. The FC target crashes in
the same time (after finishing transfer from Veeam; probably sync at the
end, because iostat shows much larger IO size), however the trace is
another, so I am attaching this.

As far as I can tell, this is still outstanding - I have a newer server that
does not yet have any access to ECC counters, status or alerts, under Debian 8.
