Bug#906054: Tested

2018-08-13 Thread Josua Mayer
I have enabled SFP support for 4.18-rc8 for armhf only, and tested that on my clearfog. It turns out to work just fine! Please find the patch attached. Note that I believe this setting should probably be enabled for all architectures, but I can currently only do real testing on armhf, and maybe on

I have found no earlier version where this worked with the debian kernel. All of the following exhibit the problem with similar errors:  - linux-image-4.9.0-7-armmp_4.9.110-3+deb9u1_armhf.deb  - linux-image-4.16.0-2-armmp_4.16.16-2_armhf.deb  -

Bug#906048: linux-image-4.17.0-1-amd64: BT_HCIUART_BCM missing

Forgot to mention BT_HCIUART_BCM is enabled in 4.9 default config on debian, so I think this is a regression rather than a wishlist bug for enabling. Cheers, Adrian

2018-08-13 Thread Josua Mayer
Package: src:linux Version: 4.17.8-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, The Compex pci express wifi module fails to probe apparently because it isn't waking up. I can't see anything wrong here, and the module used to work with older (vendor) kernels. Any clues what is going on? Yours sincerely

Upgrade issues with firmware-{adi,ralink}

2018-08-13 Thread Ben Hutchings
Between jessie and stretch I folded the contents of firmware-adi and firmware-ralink packages into firmware-misc-nonfree. However, I mistakenly dropped those binary packages entirely rather than making them transitional packages for the stretch release. I noticed this recently while looking at
