This bug seems related to  https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107573#c12 Kernel series 4.18 is affected by this bug. The bug is fixed in kernel series 4.19 (tested 4.19.5-1~exp1 from experimental) 4.9.110-3 (stretch) is the last stretch kernel not affected. 4.9.130-2 (current stretch)
