there is a newer version of this firmware v9.9.5 in the upstream repository, could you test commit 80cb579614ee576ae74e650fa0b43d9f7c212039 in linux-firmware git: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git It only says "Refine firmware to improve performance." so if it still does not work upstream realtek should be informed. > * What outcome did you expect instead? > > wlan working as before. > > Thank you for your report.
