Seconding the suggestion for more frequent firmware updates to better align with the kernel packages. Maybe these could be provided in experimental/rc-buggy? I had a problem with my RX 7900 XT where it would reboot on resuming from suspend, which was fixed by grabbing the latest amdgpu firmware
