Hi,
I've run in the same bug on a Thinkpad x220. I think that #705028,
#705635 and #703390 cover the same issue and should be merged.
i915.i915_enable_rc6=0 does not fix the bug for me, however the bpo
kernel 3.2.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 does not have the issue.
The issue is in my experience not related

No, procps shouldn't override defaults either.
But it could and imo should include a simple way to enable it as for
other stuff we have there.
Adding

to the default
reassign 600356 linux-2.6
thanks
I really think this is a bug in the kernel. I forcefully put all
required modules in the initramfs to demonstrate that the bug is not in
loading the modules but in the result.
My guess is it has something todo with

Hi,
I'm reopening #444182 as there is no 2.6.33-1~experimental.1 or newer in
the archive and the fix is not mentioned in the 2.6.32-3 changelog.
Yours, Martin

You have the kernel included hdaps module loaded. This will not work.
So its only a matter of documentation.

Please include the usb_serial modules as I need them on at least 2
Netras and I prefere to use the Debian kernel over maintaining my own
one.
