Package: kernel-source-2.4.25
Severity: important
Version: 2.4.25-3

When I build the kernel-source-2.4.25 package from source, the
resulting source tarball contains extra files net/ipv6/ip6_fw.c and
include/net/ip6_fw.h, which in turn means that trying to unpatch won't
work:

/usr/src/kernel-patches/all/2.4.25/unpatch/debian
The next patch, when reversed, would create the file include/net/ip6_fw.h,
which already exists! Ignore -R? [n]
Apply anyway? [n]
1 out of 1 hunk ignored -- saving rejects to file include/net/ip6_fw.h.rej

(This bug might apply to other versions, too; I just discovered this
one because it caused xen to fail to build if I used the bad package.)

Version: 2.4.27-1

This was fixed long ago, I'm not sure exacly when,
but I'm pretty sure it wasn't present when 2.4.27-1
went out the door.
