-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA512 hi, further progress: an upgrade to kernel linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 did not bring any change therefore i figured, it must be something connected to the kernel. in the end, i kicked hald out of the starting process and it worked. now the kernel 2.6.26
