Package: initramfs-tools
Version: 0.92o
Severity: important
This is a regression since I recall initramfs stopping when the resume
would fail.
However, after installing the 2.6.32 Debian kernel the box would not
resume with the old kernle nor stop when resuming is not possible.
Obviously this loses state of any applications running before suspend.

well that is fixed a while ago and is indeed a linux-2.6 boot.
2.6.32 can resume images that are recent enough.
2.6.26 can't do that.
please next time ask for support on a debian user list
before filing bugs, thanks.
