Today there was a kernel update released for Squeeze. After reboot,
the bind mounted subdirectory was inaccessible via NFS again, even
with Lenny versions of nfs-common and nfs-kernel-server installed. I
updated them to Squeeze versions, no improvement. DId some
troubleshooting, couldn't get it to work and then took a break to eat.
After eating i returned to find that accessing the bind mounted
directory now worked!

I've done some testing and it takes exactly 15 minutes (900 seconds)
after nfs-kernel-server has been started until I can access the bind
mounted subdirectory via the NFS share. I can access the root of the
NFS share immediately, but the bind mounted subdirectory won't be
accessible for another 15 minutes.
