Agreed. All of the recent servers and motherboards we got are useless under Debian stable. This is very frustrating. For example, on our Gigabyte H87N, there are *two* different network chipsets, and *none* are supported ! 00:19.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation Ethernet

Hi, is it planned to fix this bug with a driver backport in the next point release? Currently Debian 7 is not installable on almost all new Supermicro Intel Haswell server mainboards, because they all have i210 / i217 NICs. Would be great if Debian could be installed on this new popular
