Re-reading several makefiles,
- fs/proc/Makefile builds nommu.o and task_nommu.o unconditionally.
- mm/Makeilfe builds nommu.o unconditionally.
So I change my mind and stop adding ifndef CONFIG_MMU.

cores) machine is also getting stuck with lots of hung tasks.
Although it responds to ping, and even a KVM virtual machine running on it

Of these packages, only acpi-support-base was installed on my system.
After I removed it, the problem was solved.
