This is probably the same as #968199?

Bug#975323: Bluetooth mouse can not be connected with kernel linux-image-5.9

2020-11-20 Thread gulfstream
Package: src:linux
Version: 5.9.6-1
Severity: important

After the kernel was upgraded to linux image 5.9 (from
linux-image-5.9.0-1-amd64, now it is linux-image-5.9.0-2-amd64), the bluetooth
mouse can not be connected which can be use with linux-image-5.8.0-3-amd64. If
back to linux-image-5.8.0-3-amd64, the blue tooth mouse is also fine.

My laptop is Thinkpad P1.

Would you please resolve it for us? Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Gulfstream

The mentioned version is the first one which includes fixes for the
"BleedingTooth" issues.

Can you check if applying the changes discussed in
https://lore.kernel.org/linux-bluetooth/20201024002251.1389267-1-luiz.de...@gmail.com/
address the issue for you?

Bug#975329: linux-image-5.9.0-2-amd64 - Fans speed maximum - CPU load < 1%

2020-11-20 Thread klak
Package:linux-image-5.9.0-2-amd64
Version:5.9.6-1

Hello Maintainer,

every few minutes the fans turn to maximum for a few seconds. The CPU
load is less than 1 %, but the fans are turning maximum. The problen
starts with version 5.9. I didn't see anything conspicuous in the
syslog. The machine is a KVM host and the problem also occurs when it
is idle.
