I'm using a HP Compaq desktop computer which has an embedded Gigabit Ethernet
PCI in the motherboard. It works without problem up to kernel version 2.6.14,
but upgrading to higher versions
Is /etc/dev.d/block/hal-unmount.dev still a part of Hal 0.5.7? On my
system it is the only file left in /etc/dev.d and I'm wondering if it is
just detritus hanging around from 0.4.x that can be safely deleted.
