With Linux 2.6.31, some 915GM-based systems like the Eee PC 4G suffers

Nearly everytime I disconnect an external HDD from my Debian Lenny
machine (using 2.26-2-686-bigmem kernel), a box is displayed, showing
"Your system had a kernel failure". What can I do to avoid it? Has it
