I get black screen at X server start up if I remove i915.modeset=0
from GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=quiet i915.modeset=0
in /etc/default/grub
So I get back to that workaround.

The new 2.6.32-11 exhibits the same flickering behaviour as 2.6.32-10.
With the application Eclipse running in the foreground the flickering
is unbearable with 2.6.32-11 and 2.6.32-10 with the patch from

I've added three featuresets (mipl and web100) to a standard Debianized
