Ok, so the bisect got me down to commit
7ebfc85e2cd7b08f518b526173e9a33b56b3913b
(v6.0-rc1~28). This is unfortunate, as it is quite a large one [0].

Any chance to have ec_sys enabled in a near future?
I'm working on packaging https://github.com/nbfc-linux/nbfc-linux tool
and while it supports various ways of accessing EC the ec_sys is
preferred method.

It seems, with Kernel 6.0.12 this problem is solved.
This problem was never shown with kernel 6.0.12.
I'll have a further look for the next days.
