Hi list,
i was wondering why debian is not, as today, able to give an
openmosix-enabled patched kernel, and it lacks the openmosix userland
utilities. It seems that kernel-patch-openmosix has been put in
oldstable some time ago, but for what reason?
Thanks in advance,
MC

Hi,
sorry for the maybe stupid and repetitive question, is it possible to
use the nice features of make-kpkg also with a vanilla kernel coming
from kernel.org or is it required to use the kernel-source from debian
repositories?
Thanks again,
MC

Hi,
you've got the point. I can use it, of course, but it is not on an
official debian server. Does it means

Why did you remove the tg3 driver? It is the only netcard in my desktops and

Hi,
about the speedstep patch i searched a lot before finding it as
you've realized reading that file, it is patching, normally, a 2.6.8
version kernel =-O . It seems however that not everybody that owns a

Hi,
i've read here http://lists.debian.org/debian-kern...3/msg00412.html
that the Debian team has decided to wipe out the Broadcom tg3 module
from the 2.6.11 and following releases. I've a laptop which uses this
card to connect to a LAN. Since i must work in a LAN the problem arises.
