So, I tried again to install stable 2.6.32-5-amd64. It went OK for two weeks
after installation and now I am having again these in my dmesg

And my screen dies ... I did not have

Do you remember what this was about? Does that machine boot a more
recent kernel without requiring special flags now, and if so, which
one?
I have never experienced this bug since 6.x Debian. So, I guess it is fixed.

Hm, maybe this is the trigger. Is firmware-linux-nonfree installed?

16 instead.
It is hard to say when exactly it happened, as dmesg is full of these lines,
all previous history is not saved.
