hi guys
i kept playing with this as it was really bothering me and have found
that creating:
# Elan Touchscreen should be disabled
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="04f3", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0224",
ATTR{authorized}="0"
in
/etc/udev/rules.d/81-touchscreen.rules
has solved the problem for me
hi guys
i was not saying it was still loaded
i was saying that unloading it does not disable the touchscreen
the only way i can get the touchscreen to be disabled is by unloading
the usbhid module, which is not the best solution
thanks
