This issue is already tracked with 907581, merging the two bugs. The
next point release will include a fix, but it is already installable
from stretch-proposed-updates as of now.

running Debian Stretch linux-image-4.9.0-8-amd64 (4.9.110-3+deb9u6) to
linux-image-4.18.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 from Stretch backports. Also
