Re: Xinerama on i810 -> HELP plz
dude, try to put in the two monitors the VertRefresh and HorizSync in max. some like HorizSync 31-180 and VertRefresh 56-120 and change the Depth 16 or 24, do not put the max depth ;) its work for me :D On 8/9/05, Markus <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi,I read your comment to conifure the xorg.conf in folder /etc/X11/; andhopfully you can give me some advise. My Dell PC is build up with the chipset Intel 810 with integratedgraphic card 915 G. I think the important thing is to put 'BusID "PCI:0:2:0"' in both "Device" sections, and 'Screen 1' in the second one (the 'Screen 0' in the first one is probably optional). I don't use Xinerama, but I think Sebastian does. > The U10 is still running nicely :-) > Will be working on adding 2.6 kernel support to Sparc installation CDs > soon and I'm also working on adding sparc support for os-prober. I'm happy to hear that it isn't gathering dust somewhere. Well, it probably is gathering dust, but as long as it also does other things, the dust gathering is acceptable behaviour :-) Koen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". If I'm not mistaken, that's actually an 855, not an 810. And, as I understood, the XFree version that comes with Debian does not have very good support for it. I had trouble addressing both pipes individually (not for Xinerama, but for presentations). I fixed it by using XOrg (you can find the right sources.list-entry in the archives).
