Hi,
I'm currently working on a debian package for portsentry. Portsentry can detect
portscans(including stealth scans). One can start two instances of the program,
one with the -tcp option and one with -udp. Currently I'm using something like:
...
DAEMON=/usr/sbin/portsentry
start-stop-daemon
start-stop-daemon can use pid files to check for running instances rather than
killing all instances. If you can get portsentry to make a pid file, and
specifiy that files names, then what you have curently will work.

I've noticed that when I build a Debian package, I get a filename for

compatability.
Here is what I have in my /etc/apt/sources.list file

Hello Jim.
First, the debian-mentors list is for package maintainers and
wanna-be-package maintainers. General questions such as this are normally
aimed at debian-user.
Second, you are probably needing sources.lists lines more like these:
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US

I think that we use -2.0.1 , meaning a recompile of -2. I've seen

Hi all
I've packaged wmMatrix, a WindowMaker dock app that displays The Matrix
(from the film of the same name). One thing I'm a little unsure about
is where to put it. It naturally goes in x11 as it is an X app, but
one could also argue for graphics as it is eye candy (like Cthugha,
