Hi Mentors, I happened to take a look at the debcheck status for the GNS3 package[1]. The package depends on xdotool, as it is used by GNS3... but from the debcheck output I've discovered the xdotool is priority extra. Looking at this it would seem to me, that it is xdotool that is in the wrong

Hi mentors, Is it necessary to put a dependency on important priority package for the package on which i work. It seems that the ifconfig command could be absent on some system and my postinst script use it. Do i need to put a dependency on net-tools package ? I can do it but i would like to know
